Bridgette Guerzon Mills' one-of-a-kind handbound TreeBooks are especially made for those who have an affinity for trees. The covers are made from the bark of trees that fell in her neighborhood during a crazy wind storm. For two years they have been drying out, waiting to be transformed into a book, a vessel for mixed media creations on its pages, a sculpture to sit on your mantel? You pick!
TreeBook Four measures 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 4 inches, 20 handmade pages (40 including both sides). The paper is a textured handmade paper made from natural fibers. A maroon leather strap helps hold this unique book closed. I love this book because it still has moss attached to the crevices of the bark and the fact that the shape is still held by the bark.
